Shipping & Delivery
To ensure your wines arrive in perfect condition, every order is carefully prepared and dispatched with the utmost attention.
Here you will find all the information about shipping costs, delivery times, order tracking, and the procedures to follow should any issue arise.
1. Delivery Destinations
We ship to mainland Portugal, mainland Spain, a range of European destinations, and the United States.

2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout, based on the destination country and the number of bottles in your order.
The shipping fee is displayed before you confirm your purchase, with no obligation.
3. Order Processing
Once we receive your order, we verify product availability and confirm payment.
After your order has been validated, it will be prepared for dispatch.
Should any item be out of stock, or if we need to clarify any information regarding your order, we will contact you before shipment.
4. Delivery Times
Delivery times vary according to the destination and should be considered as estimates.
As a general guide:
- Mainland Portugal: 1–2 working days after dispatch.
- Spain and the rest of Europe — road service: approximately 3–5 working days. Delivery times to the United Kingdom may be longer.
- Europe — express service: 1–2 working days.
- United States: approximately 30 days via standard service or 7–10 days via express service.
During periods of high order volumes, promotional campaigns, public holidays, or due to circumstances beyond our control, these delivery times may be subject to change.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing the information required to track your delivery.
6. Receiving Your Order
We recommend that you inspect the condition of the package upon delivery.
If you notice any visible damage or suspect that any bottle may have been damaged during transport, please refuse the delivery and return the parcel immediately to the courier.
Please indicate the reason for the return on the courier’s delivery note and notify Quinta dos Loivos immediately using the contact details below.
If, after delivery, you discover that any product is not in satisfactory condition, please contact Quinta dos Loivos at quintadosloivos@quintadosloivos.pt, providing:
- Your order number or the reference number of the delivery document accompanying the order;
- Photographs of the external packaging and all items received, so that we may investigate the matter internally.
We will review each case as quickly as possible and find the most appropriate solution.
7. Undelivered Orders
If delivery cannot be completed on the first attempt, the courier will follow its standard procedures, which may include making another delivery attempt or directing the parcel to a collection point, depending on the destination.
If an order is returned to us due to reasons attributable to the recipient, including an incorrect address, prolonged absence, failure to collect the parcel, or any similar circumstance, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment.
8. International Shipping
Some destinations outside the European Union may be subject to customs procedures, import duties, taxes, or other charges.
Where applicable, these costs are the responsibility of the recipient.
Certain countries or regions may also incur remote area surcharges imposed by the courier.
For high-value international shipments, or those requiring specific customs formalities, additional administrative fees related to the export process may apply.
