Quinta dos Loivos wines are born from careful and patient observation: the way the sun shapes the ripening of the grapes and the structure of the wine. Three distinct exposures — East, West and South — paint three perspectives of the same place. Each wine has its own very unique voice, but together they compose a complete reading of the relationship between light, land and time, between the sun, the soil and the old vines. The vines, over 80 years old, are the living testament to the Douro. Carved into schist slopes and accustomed to the extreme, they produce less, but offer more: a complexity that only time and resilience can create.
